Moncler x Arc'teryx: Sculpted Survival

Undergraduate Project, 2022

The University of Texas at Austin

Lē explored the sculptural potential of performance outerwear—blending alpine utility with runway silhouettes. The collection investigates form, function, and futurism within the context of extreme climates and elevated aesthetics.

Drawing from the technical heritage of Arc'teryx and the luxury-forward design ethos of Moncler, Lē’s concept pieces prioritize engineered protection while embracing bold structural experimentation. Voluminous down forms, modular layering systems, and precision-seamed waterproofing converge to create garments that feel architectural, yet deeply wearable.

The collection was grounded in a design philosophy that balances technical necessity with visual impact—redefining outerwear as a canvas for sculptural expression. With a focus on innovation and adaptability, Moncler x Arc'teryximagines a future where survival gear evolves into elevated statement pieces without compromising performance.
